NX Stands for No Execute, and indeed has many other names, such as DEP or Data Execution Prevention, which is the term used to describe the Feature's Implementation in Windows XP SP2 and Windows Server 2003 SP1. It's also referred to as EVP or Enhanced Virus Protection within AMD.
